Why This Works
Patients who understand and actively implement their care plans get better results. When your recommendations are reinforced between appointments through structured coaching and movement, your patients arrive more prepared, more compliant and more confident, making your time with them more productive and impactful.
Who I collaborate with
I welcome collaboration with a wide range of women's health professionals including:
-
Physicians
-
Specialists: Endocrinologists, OB/GYN, Cardiology
-
Physiatrists and orthopedic specialists
-
Acupuncturists
-
Physical therapists
-
Women's health and wellness centres
If your work supports the health and wellbeing of women in midlife, there is likely a meaningful place for collaboration.
How I support your patients
Many patients leave appointments motivated but unsure how to implement what they've been told. I bridge that gap. Sometimes they just lack someone to hold them accountable.
Through health coaching and Pilates, I help your patients:
-
Translate medical recommendations, such as following a therapeutic diet, into sustainable daily habits
-
Understand the nutrition, movement and lifestyle factors influencing their symptoms
-
Navigate hormonal changes, metabolic health and bone density with clarity and structure
-
Reduce long-term risk of osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease and metabolic dysfunction
-
Arrive at their next appointment better prepared, more informed and more engaged in their own care
I don't diagnose, prescribe or replace medical care. I extend and reinforce it.
Pilates as a clinical compliment
For patients managing musculoskeletal conditions, injury recovery, osteoporosis or the physical changes of midlife, Pilates reformer training offers a structured, evidence-informed movement solution.
I am STOTT trained in injuries and special populations, bone health and osteoporosis. I work safely and effectively with these conditions and have had a lot of success with reducing joint pain due to imbalances in the body.
What Collaboration Looks Like
Every collaboration is different and I'm flexible in how we work together. This could include:
-
Mutual referrals (health coaching or Pilates)
-
Co-managing shared patients/clients with regular communication
-
Providing educational resources for your patients on nutrition, lifestyle and midlife health
-
Speaking at your practice or wellness centre on managing health topics
-
Shared reports/updates
-
Co-taught workshops
-
Research/quality improvement projects
